What We Do
Little Blue Bird professional organizing provides a range of services depending on client needs, lifestyle and budget.
Services begin with a 30 – 60 minute free consultation and needs assessment. We will view your space, discuss goals and vision, and create a plan of action. Together, we will discuss what can be donated, what could be sold (if desired), what can be disposed of, and most importantly, what you would like to keep. We will also help to create systems to maintain order so that spaces are more useable and their function is maximized.
All home and office services are billed at an hourly rate of $50. Our hours are flexible (evenings/weekends, if needed) so as to accommodate varying client schedules.
HOME ORGANIZATION
- Assess, sort and organize any living space such as home offices, basements, garages, playrooms, closets, pantries, attics, garages, and bedrooms.
- Reduce clutter and maximize functionality of spaces.
- Provide space managment and storage solutions to help maintain order.
KITCHEN AND DIET
- As a Registered Dietitian (RD), assess your cupboards, pantry and refrigerator and make recommendations for healthy food choices, along with improving the functionality of your kitchen.
- Create shopping lists and provide customized meal plans, including recipes. (Some health insurance plans cover the cost of seeing an RD, so clients can be reimbursed for nutrition-related services. Please contact your health insurance provider for more details).
MOVING PREPARATION/DOWNSIZING
- Prepare your home for sale by decluttering and removing (packing) personal items that are not essential.
- Sell, donate or dispose of unneeded items.
- Unpack and organize after moving.
OFFICE ORGANIZATION
- Provide room and space planning, including furniture and equipment placement.
- Implement filing systems (paper and electronic).
- Provide suggestions for paper flow and management.
- Sorting, purging and editing of contents.
STORAGE LOCKER MANAGEMENT
- Sort and categorize personal items for maximum access before “move in”.
- Reorganize existing lockers, taking inventory of contents, organizing, labeling and improving access.
