About Us

Little Blue Bird professional organizing is owned and operated by Erin Colburn, a member of Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) and the College of Dietitians of Ontario. She lives in downtown Toronto with her husband and two children.

Erin is also a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s of Health Science in Nutrition from the University of Toronto. For over a decade, she has brought order and direction to people’s health and kitchens, working with individuals, families, daycare centres, and not-for-profits. Erin has taken her passion for helping people beyond the kitchen and into the rest of their homes.

Little Blue Bird provides home and business organization services for the Greater Toronto Area and follows the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle principles and is a member of Live Green Toronto. Items that are no longer needed but are still in good shape and useable, are donated to charity. We are happy to deliver them directly to local charities such as Value Village, Goodwill, Canadian Diabetes Association (Clothesline Program), the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy (OFCP) or to a local women’s shelter.

For the most part, other unwanted items can be left out for bi-weekly household garbage pick up by the City of Toronto. If volume is greater than garbage bins allow, additional garbage tags can be purchased. If you should desire the removal of hazardous household items (e.g., paint, batteries), delivery of these items to the local Solid Waste Drop Off Depot can be included in billable time.
